Fortnum and Mason, Royal Exchange

Regular readers will know that we are big fans of Fortnum and Mason here at Culture Whisper. The department store in Piccadilly has everything you could possibly want, from scrumptious afternoon teas to engaging in-store art exhibitions. We are, therefore, delighted that the store is coming to the heart of the City for the first time. Fortnum and Mason's newest store, the brand's fourth in the UK, can be found in the gorgeous Royal Exchange. This Grade 1 listed building was originally built in the sixteenth century and is now one of London's prettiest landmarks, housing an array of classy boutiques and fine dining eateries.

As well as enjoying the stunning location, visitors will be able to peruse the store's selection of teas, preserves and hampers (perfect as a Christmas gift for even the most difficult relative). This new outlet is also a lovely place to pull up a pastel-coloured pew to enjoy a glass of bubbly. And, if it is a break from shopping that you need, the Fortnum's Bar and Restaurant will be serving up a seasonal menu in the central courtyard of the Royal Exchange.



Visitors will be able to enjoy luxurious treats, such as mouth-watering White Truffle Tagliatelle, while soaking up the atmosphere of this spectacular room. You may even wish to treat yourself to one of Fortnum's champagne cocktails, or perhaps a cup of the exclusive Royal Exchange Blend tea.
