Dolce & Gabanna toasters, anyone?
Dolce & Gabanna has teamed up with Italian home appliance company SMEG, to create a decorative line of kitchenware appliances
Have you ever stood, forlorn, in your kitchen, and wished for a blender decorated with Southern Italian motifs? A kettle adorned with gold
lemons and citrus fruit aplenty? A coffee machine with a vista into the foothills of Mount Etna?
Well, Dolce & Gabanna and SMEG have made that dream a reality with their new collection, ‘Sicily is my Love’ that will be unveiled this week during Salone del Mobile in Milan, and will be available to buy from October 2017. Each product will incorporate and celebrate Sicilian folklore, as well as the province’s culinary delights and traditional dishes.

The two Italian brands are clearly strengthening their longstanding relationship. Last year, they collaborated on one-hundred hand painted fridges that were sold for £27,000 each. Now that's boujee. However, products from 'Sicily is my Love'will be in a (slightly) more affordable price range, with pieces starting from £399.
