The producers of THUNDERBIRDS: BEYOND THE HORIZON have announced the decision to postpone the production until 2019.

To achieve our ambitions to the level of detail and complexity needed, we decided to build our own venue, The Buzz. However, in order to continue developing its unique technical and immersive elements, we have had to reschedule the show. THUNDERBIRDS: BEYOND THE HORIZON will now open in late 2019. Usually you have to hunt around the city for immersive adventures, searching in strange re-purposed venues and unexpected spaces. (Or you can find the best right here, on our list of list of immersive experiences).

But now, to cater for our increasing appetite for interaction and integration, there is a new purpose-built venue especially for immersive theatre. London's first sustainable community market, is branching out beyond the artisan Italian foodie scene with an extension and renovation especially for performances. The Buzz at Mercato Metropolitano in Borough will host a re-imagined version of 1960s TV series The Thunderbirds.

It offers a blast of nostalgia and a chance to bring the beloved characters and adventures to life for new audiences.



Thunderbirds: Beyond the Horizon boasts a power house of talents and an impressive budget to boot. It was conceived by creatives from Alice's Adventures Underground, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and Secret Cinema, and will be produced in collaboration with ITV Studios.

Lady Penelope invites you to a top secret location to celebrate the launch of The Horizon Project. But all is not as it seems and Lady Penelope is nowhere to be found. There's a cyber attack on Brains's lab and and the repercussions could be devastating. The Tracy brothers are unable to help and all but one Thunderbird is immobilised.

It is up to brave audience members to step in and save the day.
