Lucinda Coxon, the writer behind 2015 film The Danish Girl, re-works Harriet Lane's gripping debut novel for a new show at the Bridge Theatre.
It tells the story of subeditor Frances, whose nondescript life working on the book pages of a Sunday newspaper is thrown into disarray when she drives past a car accident and tends to the gravely injured driver, Alys Kyte. Downton Abbey's Joanne Froggatt stars as Frances.
