I Do, Hilton Hotel Docklands

Hotels are all the rage in the world of site-specific productions.

Following a successful run last year, the Almeida Theatre presents Dante or Die’s production of I Do.

This critically acclaimed show is returning for a limited run at the Hilton Hotel, Docklands, in a daring piece of site-specific theatre. Dante or Die prides itself on creating dance theatre and site-sensitive productions that draw inspiration from contemporary stories, and push to see the ‘magical in the mundane’.

We join the story of I Do just ten minutes before a wedding ceremony, and witness drama unfolding in every room. The audience is divided into group and follows the story through six hotel rooms experiencing the same short scenes in a different order. A rare chance to get immersed into the frantic world created when love, marriage and family collide.
