Kill Me Now play
Writer and director team Brad Fraser (Evening Standard award Winner) and Braham Murray (Founding Artistic Director of The Royal Exchange) reunite for the sixth time to bring Fraser's darkly comic Kill Me Now to the Park Theatre. The play follows widower Jake, who has put his career as a writer on hold to care for this disabled teenage son, with a little help from friends and family. However, when Jake's health starts to fail, and with son Joey hitting puberty, big questions arise.
Greg Wise: actor returns to the stage
Kill Me Now marks a return to the stage after seventeen years for actor Greg Wise (Emma Thompson's other half). Best known to all of us who love a good period costume as Sense and Sensibility's John Willoughby, Wise has been rather quiet of late, and we at Culture Whisper are intrigued to see the play that has lured him back into the spotlight.
