Having caused a stir the Hampstead Downstairs in 2013, Peter Souter’s Hello / Goodbye is headed to the main stage starring Shaun Evans and Miranda Raison.

A life in boxes
Housing headaches abound as Juliet moves into her new flat only to be confronted by a strange (and rather attractive) man also bearing removal boxes. Fast forward 10 years into the second half, and those very boxes are making an appearance again.
Peter Souter's debut script
Writer Peter Souter is better known for his radio and television scripts; Hello / Goodbye is his stage debut, with a second half based upon an earlier radio play That’s Mine, This is Yours (voiced by the consistently brilliant Tamsin Greig and Alex Jennings). Returning director Tamara Harvey provides the theatrical clout, with credits such as From Here to Eternity at the Shaftesbury and, most recently, Breeders at the St James.
The cast
Both of the show's lead actors – Shaun Evans and Miranda Raison – are making their Hampstead theatre debuts, and it is this youthful vigour combined with Harvey’s directorial prowess that we believe will allow Hello / Goodbye to justify its somewhat larger new home.
