However, Thornton Wilder’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play Our Town focuses on exactly that, while managing to capture the attention and the mind of the viewer for long after the play has ended.

Evita, Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd-Webber's 1978 hit, tells the life-story of Evita Peron, who rose from poverty to become the First Lady and spiritual leader of Argentina. At once the voice of the poor, and glamorous film star, she was loved in Buenos Aires and around the world.
