5 x 15, The Tabernacle

5x15 is a winning concept – five speakers, 15 minutes to talk about whatever they choose. The result is a unique evening of eclectic storytelling that is invariably sold out.

There are some natural-born storytellers attending the next event on November 18. Chief among them is cult American novelist Chuck Palahniuk, author of Fight Club . His latest novel Doomed is out this autumn and his other London events are selling out fast, so catch him while you can. Joining him is bestselling novelist Kate Mosse; TV producer John Lloyd; editor, foodie and author Pen Vogler, and writer Charlotte Higgins, whose Under Another Sky: Journeys in Roman Britain has been shortlisted for this year’s Samuel Johnson Prize.

Who knows what they will each come up with? But, held at the unusual Tabernacle – an imposing Victorian Romanesque church in Notting Hill – 5x15 promises to offer up the unexpected and plenty of food for thought.
