Pedro Almodóvar talk, Somerset House
An unmissable opportunity to hear Almodóvar speak at the premiere of his film, Julieta
Don't miss the legendary director as he makes an unusual appearance to introduce his 20th film, Julieta. Somerset House screens its summer film season in the gorgeous open air of its neoclassical courtyard, so bring blankets and cushions aplenty.
This, Pedro Almodóvar's third premiere opened up to the public at Somerset House, represents a return to the female-centric plots of his most well known works: it tells the emotionally mysterious story of Julieta, riddled with guilt about her past and trying to reconnect with her estranged teenage daughter.
There is no fixed seating so get there in plenty of time for opening doors at 6:30pm. The film is not due to start until 9pm, but A DJ will be playing from 6.45pm.
