In Conversation with Maggie Smith and Judi Dench, Tricycle Theatre
Great Dames of the stage Maggie Smith and Judi Dench discuss their illustrious acting careers and their 60-year friendship
The joint First Ladies of stage and screen make a rare public appearance at North London fringe venue The Tricycle Theatre for a one-hour conversation about all things performance.
Maggie Smith and Judi Dench boast more accolades than the rest of their contemporaries combined. Both were born in 1934 and have worked in theatre, film and television for over six decades. Their acting careers - spanning the RSC to Hollywood - need no introduction.
Now the pair will reflect on their careers and long-established friendship in a special one off talk to raise money for the Tricycle Theatre's Capital Project, which is working to expand the reach and accessibility of live theatre.
The 'In Conversation With' Tricycle Theatre series also includes screenings and one-off talks from directors Paul Greengrass (5 Feb) and Danny Boyle (12 Feb).
Booking opens to public at 1pm on Wednesday 14 December.
