A new Don DeLillo book is always an event. He's a cult-writer with best-seller status, with two Pulitzer prize nominations to his name. Zero K (his first novel in six years) follows a couple living in a near-future where a scientific breakthrough potentially means that humans can avoid death indefinitely. This is your first chance to learn more about how love plays out against DeLillo's futuristic landscape.

For Zero K's release, the reclusive DeLillo is making a rare UK appearance. Just don't call it a book tour; he's speaking about fiction, fate and the future as well as his new novel. He'll also be reading excerpts from Zero K. It's a must-see talk for DeLillo die-hards but also a fantastic opportunity to hear a living legend of contemporary fiction speak.

The event takes place at 7:30pm on Saturday 4 June. It's one of DeLillo's few appearances in the UK and tickets are selling fast, so book your spot soon.
