These 5 fashion items are the hottest products to buy this autumn
From comfy and slouchy handbags to it-cardigans, here is the list of fashion and beauty products winning everybody's hearts this season
1/ Waistcoat with matching tailored trousers
We all know that tailoring is one of this season's big winner. Waistcoats are becoming the 'it' item of the autumn and are selling fast on the high street.
The Frankie shop has been championing them for a while. Just make sure you wear matching tailored trousers.
2/ 31 Le Rouge de Chanel precious lipstick
31 Le Rouge, the new lipstick from Chanel wrapped in a precious glass case, is perhaps one of the most coveted beauty items of the season.
It comes in 12 different palettes, from beige and red, each colour taken from some intricate detail of Gabrielle Chanel’s life. The Rouge Fétiche is taken from the flannel ribbons she would wear around her ankles to bring luck to a new collection, and the Rouge Beige is a nod to the satin evening gown she made in the 30s.
The shade, once chosen, is inserted into a forever lipstick case, made of glass, and inspired by the mirrored spiral staircase, linking the Chanel Atelier to Coco’s studio.
3/ Slouchy Quilted bag
Slouchy and comfy, the quilted or intrecciato bag seems to be everyone’s favourite.
Unsurprisingly, the COS quilted bag made it to the top three hottest products of the season, according to the Lyst Index.
Meanwhile, we hear that the Bottega Veneta red intrecciato is at the top of Matches shopping director’s list.
For a smaller budget, & Other Stories’ woven bag is a must.
4/ Ballet flats: mesh versus gem
Mesh and gem ballerina are the absolute must-have of the season but notoriously hard to find.
Those latest Free People and Le Monde Beryl releases are selling out fast.
5/ Grey cardigan à la Miu Miu
Miu Miu is officially the hottest brand of the season, says the Lyst Index. Its logo cashmere grey cardigan (worn with a white satin miniskirt, please) has quickly reached ‘It' status, causing a halo effect for the category: searches for cardigans are up 44%, according to Lyst.
