Daylesford farmshop and café, Brompton Cross
A new outlet for Daylesford organic farm and café opens in Brompton Cross
The team behind Daylesford organic farm in Gloucestershire opened their fourth London outlet this October. The new farmshop and café is perched on Sloane Avenue in Brompton Cross. Like its three sister stores in Marylebone, Notting Hill and Pimlico, Daylesford’s newest space serves produce grown on its Cotswolds farm – where a commitment to sustainable, organic farming is nurtured.
Daylesford’s Brompton store spans three floors and offers an array of delicious organic produce to browse, shop and eat on site. The farmshop sells handmade food from the farm, including cheeses, freshly baked goods and wholesome meals to take away for later. A new concept for Daylesford at Brompton Cross is its juice bar, where organic, plant-based drinks are served, including matcha & kale, and acai & berries smoothie. Meanwhile the café – which seats up to 80 guests at a time – offers all-day dining and a seasonal menu set to change six times a year.
Not just a pit-stop for homegrown wares, Daylesford Brompton Cross will host events throughout the year including supper clubs, floristry masterclasses, discussion panels and wellness workshops. Those looking for a place to host their own event should note that the venue is available to hire for private parties, functions and celebrations on select dates, too.
Daylesford has won over 100 awards across different areas of its farm, including acknowledgements from the Soil Association Organic Food Awards, British Cheese Awards, and a prestigious Grocer Gold Award. The farm has been committed to sustainability since opening in 1975 and a spokesperson for the Dalesford group said: ‘The Brompton Cross team will uphold Daylesford’s commitment to tread as lightly as we can on this planet.’
Daylesford Organic Brompton Cross is now open. Hours: Monday 7:30AM - 7PM; Tuesday - Saturday 7:30AM -10PM (last orders for supper 9:15PM); Sunday 10AM - 4PM.
