Innovative publishers, authors and illustrators are descending on Parasol unit for a weekend to celebrating the best of temporary children's literature and a weekend of book signings, workshops and live drawing sessions in Hackney this weekend.

Prepare for an event offering workshops such as origami and collaging with illustrator Marion Deuchars (author and illustrator of Art Play and Bob the Artist), a collaborative doodle wall created by John Bargeman (award-winning doodler arriving with his new colouring book Buergerworld) and live drawing with illustrator Alice Bowsher. More activities for kids will be taking place throughout the fair offering families the chance to make books, listen to stories, colour in wallpaper and even design and make a football strip for your favourite team.

There's also a showcase of children's books, postcards, bookmarks, tote bags, balloons and limited editions works of art, a unique opportunity to meet their creators and have children's favourite books signed and gifts bought in time for Christmas.
