Venturing Beyond, Somerset House family workshop with Pat Bradbury
Venture Beyond with your family at Somerset House
Somerset House's latest exhibition, Venturing Beyond, takes a questioning look at street art, challenging preconception of how, why and when we use graffiti.
Inspired by the philosophical tone of the exhibition, Somerset House is hosting a children's workshop with contemporary artist Pat Bradbury which pushes their understanding of the boundaries of space and place, and asks children to explore the how the ways of thinking, acting and being affect what we make and create.
If the exhibition is anything to go by, we expect children to discover new ideas of thinking and get their first taste of aesthetic philosophy and artistic theory - a perfect introduction to conceptual art for any child with a spark of creativity.
Free for families with accompanied children aged 6-12 years.
