London Night Owls, Museum of London

London Night Owls are opening the doors of the Museum of London for two special after dark kids' events

Museum of London: kids events
Have you always wondered what happens in museums after lights out? London Night Owls are here to help you find out with the Museum of London's special sleepover, offering your little ones the chance to have their very own night at the museum.

Children spend a night exploring London’s rich history, from the Romans to the Victorians, travelling back in time and uncovering hidden treasures by torchlight.

Activities include a Roman military drilling form specialist Roman recanter, Legio Second Augusta, who is arriving to teach children (and parents) to march to Latin commands. Award-winning children's illustrator Salvatore Rubbino leads kids through the creation of a large artwork inspired by the Great Fire of London and a very Victorian mystery reveals itself and needs to be solved.

Having explored the history available at the Museum of London, parents are invited to tuck their kids up for the night amongst the museum's bric-a-brac.

The ticket includes an early breakfast, but we advise you bring something to nibble on for late night snack time. There will also be a family friendly film to round things off in the morning.

Suitable for ages 7-11
