Make Small Stories of your own: workshops, V&A Museum of Childhood

Little bookworms who think big will love this creative story-writing and bookmaking session with author/illustrator David Lucas.

David Lucas: The Skeleton Pirate
Looking for things to do in the Easter holidays? Inspired by the Small Stories dollhouse exhibition, and to celebrate the school holidays, Bethnal Green's V&A Museum of Childhood is hosting a series of story workshops, where children can learn how to transform ideas into their own literary masterpieces.
David Lucas, the author and illustrator behind family favourite picture books such as The Skeleton Pirate, Cake Girl and A Letter for Bear will be on hand to share first the creative process of story-telling, then to help with the practical process of building the story into a book. Not only will these workshops absorb and inspire little ones who love to read, it's also a rare opportunity to get writing tips from a best-selling author. Places are limited, so book fast.

Recommended for children ages 5 - 12.
