For the very first time, the Royal Botanic Gardens has opened its doors to the public at night-time. The result is enchanting. You will stroll through an illuminated trail – one mile long and easily accessible to all – and will be able to admire the trees alight with Moroccan Lamps and Chinese lanterns.  

And while wandering around you may well encounter mysterious characters with strange stories and riddle to be solved. We are told that Father Christmas is residing in his Grotto, hidden somewhere in the middle of the Gardens.
