Forced Entertainment: The Possible Impossible House, Barbican Pit
Forced Entertainment, theatre company known for pushing boundaries, present an innovative dramatic experience for children this Christmas.
This adventure in the Barbican Pit will be as surreal and intriguing as its title. We are promised a night-time adventure through ballrooms, corridors and cupboards, led by a girl who sprang from the pages of a library book. Forced Entertainment have pushed and stretched theatrical rules for the past thirty years, always re-imagining the role of audience and performer; we cannot wait to experience their first children’s show. Their collaboration with visual artist Vlatka Horvat will give depth and beauty to the environment, and both storytelling and unique journey will set children's imaginations spinning.
