Young fans of Nick Butterworth's One Snowy Night from the popular Percy the Park Keeper series will love the stage adaptation of this charming children's picture book. The Albany has teamed up with the wonderfully inventive theatre group Slot Machine to present this heart-warming tale of friendship, which runs at the Albany from 10 – 29 December.
Although the Percy the Park Keeper books have previously been turned into an animated children's TV series, there's nothing like the magic of theatre to bring your favourite characters to life, and One Snowy Night's frosty setting is particularly pertinent to the festive season.
Children will follow the adventures of the lovable Percy, who shelters a band of shivering animals seeking refuge at his doorstep on a freezing winter's night. He welcomes his new friends Squirrel, Badger, Fox and Hedgehog into his Park Keeper's hut, where they find warmth, comfort and generosity. But soon they are all disturbed by a mysterious creature burrowing into the hut from below!
Find out what on earth it could be in One Snowy Night, and enjoy cosy blankets, sing-along songs, and furry puppet friends along the way. Simply adorable!
