The Beasts, Lyric Hammersmith

This half term, join the Royal Society of Beastologists as they pitch their tents in Lyric Square Hammersmith on the hunt for an elusive, mysterious, and previously unseen creature. And they need more monster-hunters to come along and join the search...

Theatre company Bucket Club are bringing the wacky and wonderful The Beasts to Hammersmith as part of Theatre in the Square, where four companies take over Lyric Square with their productions on four consecutive weeks. A collaborative collection of directors, actors, writers, designers and musicians, Bucket Club is an emerging ensemble whose working style - a combination of written and devised theatre - lends itself perfectly to this form of playful outdoor drama. Live music, interactive props and storytelling add to the fun.

The unusual al fresco setting, and the inclusive, immersive theatrical style will entertain and engage children, from toddlers to pre teens. This energetic beast-hunt offers an active, outdoor approach to theatre and best of all the show is free, so all you need is imagination,  energy  - and,  depending  on  the  weather, an umbrella.
