Pancake Race, Where The Pancakes Are
Stacks on stacks on stacks: this Shrove Tuesday, be Where The Pancakes Are
This year, Valentines Day falls in the shadow of the most important event on the culinary calendar: Pancake Day. Otherwise known as Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Day is a traditional Christian feast day.
Regardless of religion, anyone can celebrate. We encourage you to take part by stuffing your face with as many pancakes as humanly possible.
The ultimate Pancake Day extravaganza will be Where the Pancakes Are. London's finest pancake establishment has joined forces with pop-up ski chalet, Après London, to host a preposterous pancake party. Flat Iron Square will be a pancake cornucopia from 7am - 11pm, with a two-hour break from 3 - 5pm so the team can batter up.

Choose from a flipping delicious menu with every conceivable combo. Sweet, savoury, classic, contemporary, indulgent, nutritious, and buttermilk pancakes will all be available. The restaurant has teamed up with Rubies in the Rubble, a sustainable food company that crafts incredible condiments with excess produce, to present 'Thoughtful Pancakes'. Snack down on some of their Blueberry BBQ Sauce for a savoury pancake stack. Their Banana Ketchup has reached cult status, and will be available on your preferred pancakes for the duration of February.
There will be a series of pancake-related activities, bringing a whole new meaning to 'The Hunger Games'. Participate in a three-legged pancake race, taking place at 6, 7 and 8pm. There will be prizes for the fastest times and most refined flipping techniques.
In the illustrious words of The Little Mermaid, 'we want to be Where The Pancakes Are.'
