Meet Astronaut Chris Hadfield: Foyles book signing

You may recognise Commander Chris Hadfield. He was the first Canadian Astronaut to perform a space walk, he's orbited the Earth thousands of times on three separate missions and he's even paid tribute to David Bowie in zero gravity.

The man who spent 166 days in space has turned his talents to something quite different recently. Having written his first children's book The Darkest Dark, Hadfield is coming to Foyles for a book singing, where little ones can meet the man in person and have their books signed by him.

The Darkest Dark is a heart-warming and imaginative story of a little boy who faces his fears and goes out to reach the stars. Hadfield will also be signing copies of his previous titles, including An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth and You Are Here: Around the World in 92 Minutes.

By booking your place for this lunchtime signing, you will automatically be entered into a competition to win signed copies of all three of Chris' books and Chris will randomly select a winner on the day.
