Mechanical Mazes, Somerset House
This May at Somerset House families are invited to upgrade their pet by building a robot
Robot games in the home have come a long way since the arrival of those bright plastic boxers with the pop-up heads, back in the early 1970s. This May at Somerset House families are invited to get all arts and crafty and take a step closer to winning Robot Wars with the Mechanical Mazes family drop-in workshop.
Digital Maker Collective invites families to collaborate, construct and control robotic masterpieces of their own design before trapping the creations in a maze made from various collage-type materials. Families will have to work together to navigate their robot to safety. Think you’ve got what it takes?
Located at the grand, historic Somerset House, on the Strand by King's College, Mechanical Mazes promises hands-on experience with some of the 21st century's coolest technology and industry experts.
Suitable for kids age 6-12
