Impulse, Leicester Square Gardens

15 musical, light-up seesaws are arriving in Leicester Square Gardens this October as part of the 'Pause and Play Festival'. So kids big and small, excitable theatre lovers wondering around the West End and anyone coming out of Soho in the early hours of the morning, jump on and enjoy the installation that's part of the 4 Our Creative Arts program.

First premiered in Montreal, this interactive playground lights up and makes music whenever the seesaws are in motion to create an ever-changing art installation/event. The more intellectual amongst may enjoy impulse for its how it embodies ideas of serialism, repetition, and variation to produce zones of intensity and calm. But most of us just want to have a go on a musical seesaw.

The installation, brought to London by Heart of London Business Alliance and supported by Westminster City Council, is free to visit.
