Take your tykes on a break from the hustle and the bustle of the city this summer by connecting with nature at the London Wetland Centre this May half term. The charitable urban oasis manages to be a plinth of environmental conservation without sacrificing family fun.
Not only are are the usual activities to amuse children - including zip wires, climbing walls, and giant water vole tunnels - but the charity is offering new, interactive activities for kids and adults. Watch playful pals forage, feed, swim, and learn games in their natural habitat with the Centre's Meet the Otters conservation efforts. Bird Feed With a Warden to join leading experts as they feed beautiful water birds from across the globe.
