Celebrate the 200th anniversary of Shelley's Frankenstein at the Science Museum this Easter break

Easter bank holiday falls right at the start of the break this year, which means you will inevitably use up all the tricks you have in the first four days to keep your little ones occupied.
The solution? Jump headfirst into questions of life and its creation at the Science Museum. The institute will celebrate 200 years since Shelly created both Frankenstein and his monster with a family-friendly festival. Kids will have the opportunity to participate in some immersive theatre, bring their own monstrous creatures to life with stop-motion animation, or crack the code to an escape room.

Mystery at Frankenstein's Lab

Dr. Frankenstein has mysteriously vanished, leaving his work unfinished and mysteries unsolved. Help Igor complete Frankenstein's seminal work by solving puzzles and conducting experiments in this interactive theatrical experience.

Create your own creature

What's better than a workshop where you can build your own creature? One where you can bring it to life, of course! Craft a wire frame skeleton, mould it with modelling clay, and watch your creation walk through the power of stop-motion animation.
