A Funny Thing Happened, Foundling Museum

Rhyme, rhythm and riotous laughter: join poet Paul Lyalls for an afternoon poetry performance and workshop for the whole family at the Foundling Museum

A Funny Thing Happened, Foundling Museum
The Foundling Museum will host poet Paul Lyalls for an afternoon of rhyme, rhythm and riotous laughter this spring.

The family-friendly event will include a performance of his new work, A Funny Thing Happened, with an introduction by Michael Rosen. According to the author, the collection is ‘aimed at anyone aged 5 – 105'.

After Paul's show has you rolling on the floor in laughter, there will be a 30-minute poetry workshop. The family can test their way with words as a team in this wonderful workshop that promises to be side-splittingly good fun.

Paul Lyalls was poet in residence for the Roald Dahl Museum from 2014 – 2015. He has made appearances in BBC2 and CBBC’s Big Slam Poetry House. Lyalls has worked with everyone from Benjamin Zepphaniah and Miranda Hart to Rastamouse.
