A Christmas Carol, Puppet Theatre Barge
Wrap-up warm and get into the Christmas spirit with the classic Victorian story of Ebenezer Scrooge this winter
Make like The Muppets (sort of) with a re-telling of that Christmas favourite: Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, acted entirely by puppets this winter at the Puppet Theatre Barge in Little Venice.
Everyone knows the story of miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, who cares himself and money, and nothing more, refusing his colleague time off work to celebrate Christmas. On Christmas eve, Scrooge is visited in the night be three ghosts: the ghost of Christmas past, the ghost of Christmas present and the ghost of Christmas future, who show him the error of his ways.
This classic Victorian story will be bought to life in the atmospheric Puppet Theatre Barge, which, as the name suggests, is literally a theatre in a barge on the river -- so whatever you do wrap up warm!
Suitable for ages 4+
