NOW Gallery in Greenwich Peninsula is a constant source of exciting, inspiring and provocative art exhibitions free for the public to enjoy.

They're particularly good at doing immersive works, too - see Kinska's My Opera House, which saw the space transformed into a colourful ceramic house.

The latest exhibition, French architect Emmanuelle Moureaux's Slices of Time, already might be the most-Instagrammed exhibition of the winter.





Featuring coloured paper cut-outs that meditate on the passing of time, Moureaux was inspired by the gallery's Greenwich Peninsula location and used 100 shades of colours and white paper to express the flow of time.

Visitors walk through the large-scale paper cutouts which float in the gallery space and can meditate on past, present, and future - there's a also round paper so you can contribute your own view on the passing of time, writing a chosen date in coloured pen and indicating its importance.

While this exhibition is extremely fragile (no buggies, and probably best for kids 7+), NOW Gallery is great for the family-friendly experience, too.
