Moonshine Saloon: London's wild west-themed cocktail bar

Punters are whisked off the streets of west London and into a saloon in the wild west when they enter Moonshine Saloon, an immersive experience by Inventive Productions. The bar began life as a pop-up but has now become a permanent fixture in East London. Now with several more rooms to explore, Moonshine Saloon is ready to welcome even more outlaws looking for night out on the sly.

Like Alcotraz, the company's immersive cocktail experience inspired by California’s infamous prison, Moonshine Saloon expects guests to bring their own liquor. You won’t be expected to mix them, though. Once inside the immersive cocktail bar, on-site mixologists will blend your tipple of choice using the ‘moonshine’ you brought with you. Your group, meanwhile, can busy yourselves playing card and dice games, and exchanging tales of the treacherous west.



Those who’ve visited prison-themed Alcotraz will remember donning an orange jumpsuit on entrance. Moonshine Saloon has in fact been created as a prequel experience to Alcotraz; one that follows the ventures of fictional moonshine distiller and liquor smuggler, Clyde Cassidy, prior to his capture and sentencing to prison.

Like Alcotraz, Moonshine Saloon also expects guests to get into the spirit of the night by looking the part. But fear not, you won’t be expected to swagger down the Kings Road in your cowboy getup; ‘tailors’ will be on hand to dress your group in stetson hats and other wild west memorabilia on entry to the bar.
