For King and Country: 1940 & For King and Country: 1944, CoLab Factory

For King and Country is an immersive theatre piece which sets audiences up as war cabinet and now, alongside a sequel centring on Nazi resistance fighters

For King and Country: 1940 plays at The Colab Factory along with with sequel, '1944'
For fans of political immersive theatre centring on WWII, the films Downfall, Churchill or Darkest Hour, any number of spy and war thrillers or any combination of the above, it looks like For King and Country is the experience for you.

Returning to London after five-star reviews and an Off-West End nomination first time around, this time the show brings with it a sequel, For King and Country: 1944. The two plays will alternate nights, with a ticketing option to give audiences the chance to experience both, with a very different feel and set-up for each.

‘1940’ sees the audience tasked with working together to set up a government and war cabinet to lead the country, while ‘1944’ turns the audience into resistance workers tackling the Nazis from underneath, in an alternate-history Britain. With a cast of actors who are working without scripts to create the experience with you, every show is different, and always has a hidden twist in store.
