ROH Late
For one night only, on Sunday 14 November, the normally sedate public foyers of the Royal Opera House host the party to end all parties with ROH Late, part of the London Mayor's #Let'sDoLondon Lates.
The spectacular Paul Hamlyn Hall with its famous glass and steel ceiling (pictured top), the august, plush Crush Room and the modernist Linbury foyer will all get kitted out for the occasion, each offering a different experience.
So, the Crush Room will be converted into a nightclub, featuring vogueing, go-go dancing and a stunning set by DJ Zohar.
The Linbury foyer will be transformed into a cabaret-style bar for the occasion, complete with classical piano music and a selection of especially designed signature cocktails.
For its part the Paul Hamlyn Hall will offer a variety of late performances, including drag shows and two performances of Giselle: Remix – starring artists of The Royal Ballet, and choreographed by the evening’s co-curators: former Roundhouse resident artist and cabaret performer Jack Sears, and Royal Ballet first artist Hannah Grennell.
ROH Late is an annual opportunity to have fun and let your hair down in one of London's most emblematic landmarks. Last year's party fell victim to Covid-19 restrictions, so this year's offers the opportunity to have fun while celebrating the return of collective partying.
