Scratch Perverts' two-decade-long influence on turntablism, where turntables are used as instruments in themselves rather than devices for playing music, is practically peerless. Since 1999, they have stood titanic over the DJ and turntablist scenes in the UK and around the world, pioneering never-before-seen techniques and winning accolade after accolade.
They will be dropping by the Farringdon super-club Fabric in October for one of their infamous 6 hour sets, in the intimate third room.
Prime Cuts and Tony Vegas will be serving up their usual riot of hip-hop, funk, bass and peerless scratch-mixing, to guarantee a night that will be nothing if not astoundingly enjoyable, whilst the remaining rooms are curated by two authentic legends of UK bass music, DJ Hype and LTJ Bukem, who will be doing their best to tempt you away with a two-room line-up of top names in UK drum'n'bass, from Playaz' own Hazard and Pascal to Hospital Records lynchpin Nu:tone.
