A seasoned busker, Mike Rosenberg aka Passenger, has spent the last five years travelling the world and playing to a new audience every night. However, after releasing breakthrough hit 'Let Her Go' last year, he's swapped the streets for the stage and will come to London as part of a UK tour later this year.
Released in June, his latest album Whispers is described as 'exceptional' by critics - a record that marries stories of social commentary, love and honesty around big production of brass, strings and backing vocals. “I don’t write for radio or for commercial success – I write because these songs are real to me,” he explains.
Break-up ballad 'Let Her Go' was the UK’s 4th biggest selling single of 2013 and amassed 20 No. 1's around the world over the space of 18 months. It's since earned him a prestigious Ivor Novello Award. The US is next on the cards, and he’s already making waves in the notoriously tricky market after soundtracking a Superbowl advert for Budweiser.
