For the entirety of October, nearly 300 London bars plus additional pop-up venues are celebrating the city's most impressive mixology for London Cocktail Week 2021. With a £15 wristband, you can spend the month sipping on some of the best tipples in the world for just £7 per drink.
Ordinarily, The Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane plays host to the Cocktail Village hub of the event, where bars appear in pop-up form and live DJs create a party atmosphere. The Cocktail Village has, alas, has been cancelled for 2021 as a result of the pandemic. But the spirit of London Cocktail Week lives on in noteworthy bars across the city.
The best of the best really do get involved: from Tayēr + Elementary, Discount Suit Company and Black Rock in Shoreditch, to Swift and Disrepute in Soho.
Discounted cocktails aren't the only perk of London Cocktail Week. Pop-up events and masterclasses are all part of the excitement too. Here are some of the highlights…
BrewDog Distilling Co's Lost Forest
BrewDog Distilling Co's Lost Forest
Hipster brewery BrewDog has launched a range of spirits made from scratch. To celebrate, it's inviting drinkers to venture into a living forest installation (by way of its Covent Garden bar) to try a selection of Zero Waste cocktails. All elements of the drinks are edible, from the cup to the garnish.

The Macallan Manor House at Rosewood London
Scottish whisky distillery The Macallan is transforming the courtyard terrace of the Rosewood London into a luxury pop-up space inspired by the rugged Highlands landscape the Macallan Estate calls home. Look forward to world-class dining courtesy of the Roca Brothers of three-Michelin star Spanish restaurant El Celler de Can Roca, plus a chance to sample The Macallan's renowned single malt whisky. Don't fancy drinking it neat? Pair your dram with JING tea for a bespoke hot toddy.

Discarded Spirits Co. and Callooh Callay present The World's Most Rubbish Bar at Jub Jub
Join zero-waste spirits brand, Discarded Spirits Co. and celebrated cocktail bar Jub Jub at Callooh Callay for the World’s Most Rubbish Bar, a conscious drinking experience designed to reframe the way you perceive waste. Look forward to 'luxury' cocktails made using locally sourced 'waste' ingredients. Don't miss Discarded's cocktail masterclasses on Wednesday 20 and Saturday 23 October for a chance to learn how to muddle your own.

CBD Cocktail Workshop
Make merry and stay mellow with this CBD mixology masterclass hosted by INTUNE CBD founder Hannah Glasson. Learn the ins and outs of drinking CBD-infused concoctions, plus which INTUNE CBD mixers best complement different spirits. If you like what you try, look out for the company's electric-powered float, which will be operating as a pop-up bar outside Cleeve Workshops for the whole month.

Buffalo Bourbon Empire
Putting whisky centre stage is the Buffalo Bourbon Empire, a returning highlight of London Cocktail Week, which is taking over east London whisky bar Milroy’s of Spitalfields for the whole of October. The four-storey site will play home to a whole host of events, from talks and masterclasses to tasting evenings showcasing rare varieties. Pop in during opening hours to sample a range of cocktails made with spirits from award-winning American distillery Buffalo Trace.
