Voltaire, a cocktail bar named after the French writer and philosopher, is hosting Culture Whisper members for an exclusive whisky tasting and cocktail masterclass on Thursday 28 September.
Each month, Voltaire showcases a different spirit through tastings and masterclasses. This September, members are invited to participate in a Kinahans whisky tasting. Learn everything you've ever wanted to know about whisky and then some: determine flavour profiles and separate the blends from a single malt under supervision from the bar's manager and mixologists.
This will be followed by a cocktail making masterclass, where guests are invited to try their hand at muddling the Dublin Sour cocktail. Don't be surprised if you find yourself muddled by the end, though – the event is whisky business.
With an impressive selection of champagnes, homemade liqueurs, syrups, and infusions, Voltaire promises an educational evening of scrumptious cocktails.
