Sense-ation Dinner Series: An Icelandic Adventure at Texture, Mayfair
Michelin-starred London restaurant Texture promises to wow guests with a stunning Icelandic tasting menu on these three exclusive nights

Aggi Sverrisson’s Texture has already got people talking since being awarded a Michelin star in 2010, but its upcoming culinary event is sure to attract even more attention.
The Mayfair restaurant is hosting three exclusive nights where guests will indulge in a five-course tasting menu, to guide them through stunning Icelandic scenery and culinary traditions. The sensory experience will not be limited to the taste buds: the evening will take place in an Icelandic landscape featuring Blue Lagoon water features, all crowned by Texture’s very own Northern Lights.
The menu will be packed full of Icelandic delicacies, including a signature cocktail ‘Uggi’ (made with Icelandic aquavit) on arrival, juicy langoustines served on a bed of seaweed, native reindeer with chocolate sauce, and traditional Skyr with blueberries served with textured wooden spoons and bowls crafted by famed Icelandic artist Olafur Sveinsson. Each course will be paired with complementary wine, and that’s not all: there will also be different sounds of the Icelandic countryside playing in the background, which will change with each course.
And, as if we needed anything else to tempt us, each guest will leave clutching a goodie bag full of Icelandic treats, ranging from natural skincare products to high-quality ingredients.
With just 16 (sheepskin-covered) seats on offer for each night, places won’t last long, so don’t delay!
