Say Cheese, Rose Lipman Building
Those offbeat gourmands at the Art of Dining have found a new way to make food imitate art. Say Cheese is a pop-up inspired by snaps of British cuisine taken by documentary photographer, Martin Parr.

A word of caution (or perhaps encouragement): Parr’s nostalgic 1995 collection of images, British Food, is the influence here, and fish fingers, doughnuts, strings of uncooked sausages, and baked beans are all dished up in fairground colours. It’s all part of the fun, and if you can stomach it, this witty and edible photo exhibition just hits the spot.

Set in a former library in Hoxton, it’s an immersive photo-culinary experience – with chef Ellen Parr (Martin’s daughter, who trained at Rochelle Canteen and Moro) recreating five of her father’s photos in an inventive 5-course menu: expect great things, banish thoughts of greying mushy peas.
