Craft Beer Social Club, Shoreditch

Beer lovers of London, we have just the place for you. The Craft Beer Social Club has popped up in Shoreditch.

It’s offering an at-seat service with a promise to educate drinkers while providing them with options from an ever-changing rota of beers from small and independent British brewers.

"I’ve been disillusioned for a long time about the way we treat British beer. We just drink it,” says Justina Cruickshank, founder of the club. “I'm not opposed to that, but we have talented brewers from all over the country creating spectacular beers. I want to spread the word and get people to be proud to drink British.” 

We think that, with its carefully selected brews and beer sommeliers, this pop-up will persuade you to do just that.

To make sure you aren;t drinking on an empty stomach, Austrian street food group Fleisch Mob will be on hand between 16 and 20 December.

The Craft Beer Social Club pop-up will be at 232 Shoreditch High Street until 20 December, and is open Tuesdays to Sundays from 12pm until 12am. Although you can walk in off the street, we recommend you book a table in advance.

But, if you can’t make it, don’t be downhearted, Cruickshank says she wants more pop-ups next year, and hopes to return to Shoreditch for a three-month residency from the end of January.
