Christabel’s Edible Playground
Christabel brings the latest in her series of quirky pop up experiences – a veritable feast of nostalgia.
Remember when the days after Christmas were spent playing with all the new games you'd been given? Well, you're in for a treat with Christabel’s—on the 15th of January, the creative talent behind the Mad Hatter's Brunch brings diners a good dose of nostalgia in the form of her Edible Playground.
Guests are invited to start the evening with a glass of winter bubbly and some purple popcorn, before diving headlong into the gaming fray.
From snakes and ladders bruschetta to chocolate ganache Lego with shortbread Jenga, every course is a feast for the imagination as well as the tastebuds. For us, the most exciting course is a toss up between the build your own quinoa castle with pink ‘playdough’, to paint your own chicken, whatever that entails. An intriguing and creative evening, where for once, you're actively encouraged to play with your food – we bet that never happened in your youth.
