New Year's Eve with the Disappearing Dining Club

The team behind the Disappearing Dining Club have, for the last four years, been turning out some of London's best high-end pop-up restaurant experiences, and we've plenty of reason to believe that this year's New Year's Eve Dinner Dance will be no different.
From their founding in 2010, through to the establishment of a permanent home in Brick Lane in 2012 – the excellent Back in 5 Minutes – the DDC has been going from strength to strength, from a residency in Spitalfields to pop-ups in Camden and more.
New Year's eve is always the trickiest night of the year when deciding where to be, the DDC are vowing to make that decision an easy one by offering a unique artesian menu that features pea and truffle arancini and a prawn and scallop salad, accompanied by a citrus, truffle, papaya and champagne jelly, which might just be the best thing we eat in 2014, (and possibly 2015, though we're keeping our hopes high). The meal is to be served up on long, 'family style' tables, inviting conversation to flow as easily as the Grey Goose they're providing in their cocktails. The venue, an East London lighthouse, promises to be a unique setting in line with the Dining Club's exceptionally atmospheric events. 
For post-dining revelries the DDC are hosting Café del Mar legend Jose Padilla, who brings his own inimitable brand of smooth grooves to help guests ring in the New Year in style. DJs spinning house, techno and disco (including the Club's own resident Scott Martin, fresh from the soulful side of Ibiza) will keep everyone on their feet 'til the early hours.
