Pretty Sweet by The Moveable Feast

A supperclub with a twist is coming to West London this December. From the team behind Pretty Sweet, the newly-launched patisserie currently providing the pastry range for Whittard's new Chelsea cafe, comes a dessert-only dining experience hosted by The Moveable Feast, to be held in a cosy Fulham eatery and designed to showcase their delicious range of bespoke cakes, sweets and treats.
The Moveable Feast team specialise in throwing just the kind of dinner parties you wish you had the time to host – relaxed, sociable but always superbly catered for. They pride themselves on the eclectic range of their events, and with this sweets-only menu they've really outdone themselves, providing – as ever – a suitably atmospheric setting for the duo of Claire Clark and Sarah Crouchman (who first met as junior pastry chefs at the Portman Inter-Continental hotel in the early '90s) to do their thing.
OK, so “sweets-only” isn't exactly right, as the evening will start with a few savoury nibbles to whet the appetite – a sort of justification, maybe, for the sweet-tooths' heaven that is to follow – but once you've snacked on mini welsh rarebit, amongst others, a palate-cleansing champagne granita paves the way for a veritable cavalcade of treats, including torte gianduja, macaroons and velvet cakes.
The last thing to mention is that the evening is BYOB, so dig out a little bottle of something suitable for a sweet palate, head down to Fulham, and indulge.
