Street Feast at Hawker House

As the winter months set in, night market stalwarts Street Feast have moved indoors. Hot on the heels of successes at Merchant Yard in spring and Dalston Yard over the summer, the latest project is inspired by the hawker centres of Singapore.
With a full-on roof and built-in bar units, it seems Hawker House is the shape of things to come, with Dominic Cools-Lartigue saying he hopes it will become a permanent venue at some point.
From Smokestak ’s 4.5-tonne smoker outside Hawker House to BOB’s Lobsters ’ red and white VW van inside, the team have pushed the boat out to bring in the best food London has to offer. Featuring big names like British Street Food award-winners Yum Bun and Caribbean aficionados Mama’s Jerk , who are creating a unique dish for Hawker House, we’re convinced you’ll find something to set you taste buds alight.
Of course there will also be a line up of warming drinks on offer to offset the cold snap. We’re particularly excited about the Hot Bar’s bubbling cauldrons with unusual takes on festive classics. A Hot Applegrass—Zubrowka, lemon, ginger and apple juice—sounds like the perfect remedy to a long week at work. But with 50 whiskies and a multitude of wines thrown into the mix, the hard part will be choosing where to start.
