Scandi-Bird at Bluebird, Chelsea

Chelsea's Bluebird bar and restaurant already has a deserved reputation for great cocktails and adventurous cuisine, and this winter they're pushing the boat out with a new Scandinavian-themed pop-up, adding to the growing number of Christmas pop ups in London.
Taking over a corner of their spacious courtyard area (already some of the best people-watching territory on Kings Road), their Scandi-Bird venture promises 'scandi-themed bites and Belvedere cocktails', along with a traditional Gløgg - mulled wine with a nordic twist. Their courtyard will be transformed by reindeer skins and candlelight into a Scandinavian grotto, just right for huddling into and keeping those winter chills at bay.
If you need a little more than 'scandi-bites', head inside the beautiful art deco complex and take the opportunity to sample the food on offer upstairs, at Bluebird's highly-rated restaurant. The tarte tatin is always popular, while their stylish take on fish and chips always goes down well.
The team behind Scandi-bird are promising a variety of events and goings-on in the courtyard in the run-up to Christmas, so you might just be in for a surprise when you get there!
