Castello Cheese Pop-Up, Shoreditch

Cheese lovers get excited; a delicious cheese emporium is making its way to London. Fresh from New York, The Hague and Copenhagen, Castello’s pop-up cheese shop is opening its first UK concept store.

The pungent pop-up will park itself on Commercial Road in Shoreditch on the 9th September, where it will stay put for the following 7 weeks. 

With over 30 different varieties of cheese available to taste and buy, a chance to influence the company’s launch of a new cheese, and fine wines and beers suggested by experts to accompany the delectable cheeses, this promises to be a fully immersive cheese experience like no other.  There will be a fresh deli counter so that diners can select their desired quantity of cheese, have it expertly cut and wrapped to be enjoyed later with family and friends. This pop-up will even feature a station to build your own perfect cheese hamper with a selection of delicious chutneys and drink pairings to sample.

It will also feature tasting lunches for a fiver, live Q&A sessions with speakers including ‘gastronaut’ Stefan Gates,and a chance to pick your cheese tipple of choice in wine connoisseur Matt Day’s ‘drinks cabinet’.  

Castello's is open from the 9th September to 24th October, 132 Commercial Street, E1 6NQ . Closed on Mondays.
