Holiday Season - Spain, White Room Supper Club

Hosted in a stylish apartment overlooking the city, the White Room Supper Club is a sophisticated addition to London’s ever expanding range of pop-up dining establishments.

The brainchild of Claudia Stachelhaus, White Room Supper Club is hosted in her ultra-modern and ultra-stylish apartment. Originally from Germany, Claudia has lived in Australia, South Africa, and London which is reflected in her cosmopolitan cooking.

You can expect four courses with a donation of £35 and a BYOB policy, although Claudia stocks a few spare bottles of wine available for an additional donation.

White Room Supper Club prides itself on creating a relaxed and homely atmosphere, and we are particularly impressed by the way in which it brings together complete strangers who often stay to chat away the evening until the small hours of the morning. It feels just like a dinner party with friends, provided your friends live in one of the most elegant apartments in London.

Claudia’s next event is set to be a Spanish themed affair inspired by her own travels, so expect yellow pepper gazpacho, stuffed squid, and cod with chorizo confit. As far as possible all ingredients are sourced locally and so you can expect them to be fresh, and the bread is even homemade (and delicious). Last but not least, we hear rumours of a vanilla and chocolate cake with homemade cinnamon ice cream, which sounds like it is not to be missed. All this will be washed down with a selection of coffees and teas, as well as homemade chocolates.
