Fancy a cultured pop-up restaurant? London 2014 will see an antidote to the 'dirty food' trend as the Radical Dining Society- London foodie maestros- come to Embassy Gardens

If you’re bored of the ‘dirty food’ trend and fancy a more upmarket pop-up this summer, then look no further than the Radical Dining Society this July.

The RDS presents Walk on The Wild Side: a night of food, drink and art in a futuristic glowing cube on the Thames.

Toby Cartwright Chef

Centred around up-and-coming chef Toby Cartwright’s delectable culinary skills, wild is very much the operative word; Chef Toby’s selection of luxuriant but robust dishes make liberal use of the best untamed British ingredients.

The very grown-up menu includes venison with wood sorrel, cured salmon with dulse and wild fennel, nettle risotto, and wood pigeon with dandelion and field peas. With skills honed under the tutelage of two Michelin Star chef John Campbell, and latterly under London pop-up virtuoso Ben Spalding, the Radical Dining Society’s promise of a ‘wild culinary experience’ seems likely to be fulfilled.

Radical Dining Society- London Food Events

Cocktails will accompany this gamey feast (including such experimental intrigues as the Strawberry Scorpion Caipirinha) and entertainment provided by DJ Tony from Raffles nightclub- all in sleek modern surroundings dotted with 'wild'-themed art.

Produced by emerging artists, the artworks stick with the evening’s wild theme and are also available for purchase.

Dinner is available on the roof terrace in two sittings at 7.30pm and 9.30pm featuring seven courses, with wine- and an introductory glass of champagne- included. Or you can really go wild and book the 10 person private dining option, giving you an eight course meal where each course is paired with a glass of fine wine.

General admission is £25 and includes entry, 1 cocktail and 1 bowl of ceviche from Aji Ceviche. After that cocktails are priced between £7.50 & £8.50 and extra Aji Ceviche food dishes at £6.50 each. Terrace dining is £75 a head and private dining for 10 people is £2000.
