Urban Rajah, pop-up guru, lifestyle adventurer and self-confessed dandy, will whip up a four-course gastronomic extravaganza for one weekend this July at The Doll’s House in Hoxton
From chicken dumplings from the Himalayas to Chemmeen prawns from the Malabar Coast, diners will be guided through the more obscure yet delicious dishes from the Indian subcontinent, created with authentic recipes that have passed through several generations. The meal will be paired with specially selected spiced ciders from Cotsworld Cider Company with a brief explanation as to how it compliments each dish.
Growing up in Britain in the seventies and surrounded by street cricket, family and, most importantly, spiced food, Urban Rajah is dedicated to sharing home recipes and food, travel and lifestyle stories through his blog and his cookbook Urban Raja’s Curry Memoirs . Urban Rajah also hosts a highly acclaimed pop-up restaurant and social enterprise, Cash n Curry, where all profits are donated towards Indian anti-human trafficking projects.
